Design My Dream Diabetes Device Teen Workshop

In May 2015, HealthDesignBy.Us led a teen workshop at the JDRF TypeOneNation Summit in Metro Detroit. More than 100 teenagers with diabetes learned the basics of design thinking and user-centered design. They formed groups and followed the stages of design (empathy, define, ideation, and prototyping) to create their dream diabetes device. In less than one hour, they shared their solutions to others and the results showcased their amazing creativity and insight.
